Eid Al Fitr 2022: Dubai Police caution public against illegal use of fireworks during Eid celebrations

Dubai police warned residence from using or trading in fireworks during Eid Al Fitar celebration in UAE.
Violators will face up to a year in prison and / or a fine of 100,000 dirhams under Section 17 of Federal Decree 2019, which criminalizes the trade and import of weapons, ammunition, explosives, military equipment and hazardous materials.
The Dubai police has issued a statement urging the public to refrain from engaging in firecracker vendors for public safety during Eid al-Fitr.
Dubai police also urged residence to prevent children from playing with fireworks to avoid fire hazards their homes or in public places.
