The UAE is moving towards a nationally integrated digital judicial system through the Judicial Coordination Council. The UAE Department of Justice aims to have the project fully implemented by the end of this year.
The UAE Minister of Law Abdullah Sultan bin Awad said that the ministry was developing a nationally integrated digital judicial system through the Judicial co-ordination council and was preparing to launch special training courses for family counselors through the Judicial Training Institute.
Aisha Mohammed al-Mulla, chairwoman of the Federal National Council for Constitutional, Legislative and Appeals, presented a report on the challenges faced in the field of family guidance, including the lack of a unified professional license requirements for family counselors. The Minister of Justice also expressed the same opinion as the Committee's report on the lack of an integrated strategy for family guidance.
He pointed out that the recommendation of the committee to develop a unified integrated strategy regarding family guidance through the Judicial Coordination Council of the Ministry at the national level would be accepted only after discussion by the Judicial Council.
The Federal National Council for Legislation and Appeals also proposed to develop an integrated strategy for families to integrate policies related to the qualification and training of family counselors, criteria for measuring the performance and quality of family guidance offices, and work systems in courts.
